Can I take my bicycle into the passenger area?
All bicycles that are large enough to be used as regular road or cycle path vehicles must be loaded into the ferry canopy lane (Lane F) – they are not permitted in the foot passenger areas.
This is because our passenger lounges don’t have suitable storage facilities for bicycles, and bikes left in these areas can create a hazard in an emergency.
The only exception is for very small children’s bicycles that are more like toys than functional vehicles, these may be brought into the passenger area at our discretion.
Our crew are trained in safely loading and unloading bicycles via Lane F, and will help make sure you can board and disembark safely, whether riding or pushing your bikes. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to a crew member onboard and they’ll be happy to assist.
