Changes to our Torpoint Ferry office hours
Update to Torpoint Customer Service Office Opening Hours
From Monday 19 January, the opening hours of our Torpoint Customer Service Office will change. The office will now be open to the public from 9am to 12 midday, Monday to Friday. This is a change from the previous 9am–5pm opening hours.
Regular visitors may have noticed occasional changes to reception availability recently. To ensure a more consistent and reliable service, we are trialling this adjustment to our reception opening hours.
We understand that any change to a familiar service can be frustrating, so we want to explain why we’re making this adjustment and how we will continue to support our customers.
Over time, we have seen a significant reduction in the number of customers visiting the Torpoint office in person, with more people choosing to contact us online, by email or over the phone. At the same time, we are increasingly aware that our much-loved Torpoint building presents some accessibility challenges for visitors, which we need to properly review.
The revised opening hours will remain in place until the end of February, when we will carefully assess the impact of the change and decide on next steps. The adjustment also helps us to manage costs responsibly and make better use of our resources, while continuing to provide a high standard of customer service.

If you do need to speak with someone in person and the revised Torpoint hours are not suitable, our Tamar Bridge offices remain open until 5pm each weekday.
