NewsThe Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee has undertaken a publicity and consultation exercise in respect of the proposed 50% increase in Bridge and Ferry tolls scheduled to be introduced late next year.
At a meeting held on 26 September 2008, Members of the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee approved a proposal to raise tolls at both crossings by 50% from December 2009, to fund the forecast costs of operating, maintaining and improving the two crossings.
